We are saddened to learn of the passing of our classmate Linda Garrels Westerfield. Linda passed away on April 25, 2022. A memorial service will be held May 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Linda had worked 37 years as a nurse in Bloomington.

Linda and I were best friends in High School. We kept in touch over all these years. When she had to move back to Bloomington and I had also moved back I went to visit her. She wasnt happy about the move but knew it was necessary. Her and her husband had lived in Salem Mo. after they retired. The last time I saw Linda was Dec. 2021.We were so happy to see each other! Linda had a lot of health problems and missed her husband who had passed from Covid. I had planned to visit again when spring came. She also was hoping to visit me and see our old Junior high school. I will see you later Linda my old friend. (sorry I cant get her pic the right direction ugh)

Robin, I am thankful that Linda and your remained friends in life. You truly are such a sweet person Robin.
Thank you for sharing. My heart is crying tears for within one week, after Linda and now Anne Charback - I also have lost two other family friends that have known me since a child. Making me to become overwhelmed in my heart. Thank you being such a wonderful friend to Linda and to so many. You are such a beautiful sweet person.
