Holly Lindsay (Kendrick)

Holly Ann Kendrick, 65, of Bloomington, passed away at 4 a.m. Thursday (April 19, 2018) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Her funeral will be at noon Tuesday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Bonnie Crosier officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10 am. to noon Tuesday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. The family suggests memorials be made to Community Cancer Center, Normal.


Holly was born Feb. 13, 1953, in Bloomington, the daughter of Edward W. “Ed” and Ann F. Fey Lindsay. She married Sid M. Kendrick.

Surviving are her three children, Daniel (Catherine) Kendrick, St. Charles, Mo.; Erin (fiancé, John Martinez) Kendrick, Maryland Heights, Mo.; and Sara (Travis) Milliken, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, MacKenzie, MacKayla, Noah, Colette, Micah, Alexa, Cruz, Jaxon, Isabel, Sidney and Linken; and her sister, Renee (Kevin) Kempin, Normal.


Holly was preceded in death by her parents.

Holly retired in 2016 from Home Sweet Home Ministries. Holly was a lifelong member of Centennial Christian Church, Bloomington. She loved the beach, getting pedicures and spending time with her family. The family like to thank the staff and doctors at the Community Cancer Center, Advocate BroMenn Medical Center and Heritage Health, Normal, for their care and compassion shown to Holly.
