Larry Webb and I grew up as neighborhood friends in life.  He lived around the block from me.  We attended school at the OLD EDWARDS School together - playing, walking side-by-side, giving one another a very hard time.  His mother cut my hair.  Larry those years long ago was more than a 'neighorhood' friend, but he was a brother to my heart.  I loved Larry as a 'brother'.  But as time does, in High School - being involved with other things, our lives drifted apart.  Like ships in a sea drifting apart.  But we always for some reason managed to run into one another at times through the years.  When Mark and I lived in Albuquerque, NM and came home to Bloomington to visit - I called Larry and we met with one another with his beloved wife Joyce to get reacquainted one again as a ship once again passing in the sea.  We stayed in touch as I would call him just to check in on him to say 'hello' and send my love to him once again to stay connected. A few years ago during one of the phone calls, Larry shared that his sister Nancy had passed away and that he missed her.  All I could do was have tears as he shared of Nancy...
Today, 09/18/2023 as I woke - I had Larry on my heart and began missing him once again.  Remembering someone that my own heart LOVED on this earth.  Two ships drifting by one another as the WIND carries us apart.  I miss you LARRY, I will always miss you.  Thank you for blessing my life on this earth for being that friend from many years ago.  I love you BROTHER.
